RISK ASSESSMENT

The first step in meeting your needs is identifying them. We will carry out a risk assessment, which will look at the potential threats to your business and its vulnerabilities.

We would then propose a series of preventative, deterrent or corrective countermeasures together with a system design and cost estimate, from a wide range of leading-edge electronic products that would greatly reduce any potential loss to your operation, from a fire or security breach.

Cortech Fire & Security Systems ltd carry out risk assessments on the basis that the customer is intending to purchase a system type product from us and in the case of Security Systems these are free of charge , in some cases , such as Fire Alarm Systems a cost is associated with the assessment survey (agreed if required before commencement) particularly if the client wishes to utilise any design proposals to procure competitive costs from others . However if a customer does agree to pay for a design proposal and the project / business is finally placed with Cortech then the design cost shall be credited against the system price (*).

* All design proposal documentation is displayed and explained to a prospective client together with a cost estimate for the project , the design proposal documentation may be removed at the end of the meeting should the client be unsure of placing an order directly

Would customers please note that these are carried out in accordance with PAS 79 “Guidance-and Recommended Methodology” (and do not include structural fire resistance comments or facts, this element if necessary should be carried out by a suitably qualified Structural / Civil Engineer) publicly available from the British Standards Institute.
